Friends Releases

  • Sep. 1st, 2009 at 1:12 AM

I have 3 friends who have new releases out. So today I give you 3 awesome books form 3 awesome authors.

Mel Teshco's was out a couple of weeks ago when we were at the conference so I didn't have a chance to blog about it. Mel and I have been friends for a few years now, dreaming and learning writing together. I am very proud of this girl's release and can't wait to celebrate her next one.
Stone Cold Lover
By: Mel Teshco
Released 14 August 2009
Heiress Loretta Shaw is notorious for her loose morals and sexual needs. Trouble is, it’s taken her one too many one-night stands to realize that no man can extinguish the sexual fire she feels toward her guardian, Cray Diamond.

A long-ago curse made Cray immortal—a gargoyle, a guardian, who is impelled to protect a human chosen by the curse. He is imprisoned in stone during daylight hours but dusk returns him to flesh and bone to carry out his immortal duty.

That Cray can shift between human and living gargoyle at night bothers Loretta not one bit. She’s seen him naked many times and her desire for him—in any shape or form—knows no bounds. She’s tired of his resistance. He’s her gargoyle…and she wants him in her bed.

This is Anna's second Nocturn Bites - the fabulous debut was Savage Dragon released in July. I have recently started SD and I am very inpressed. I can't wait to get into this new release.
Wind Kissed, Fire Bound
By Anna Hacket
Released 01 September 2009
As Keeper of the Winds, Livia Cavalli needed to focus her power on keeping the evil Tempest Winds trapped in their island prison. What she doesn't need is to be distracted by sexy horse trainer Rafe Donovan. Three hundred years ago, Livia became an immortal Keeper to numb her emotions, but Rafe arouses her in a way she hasn't felt for centuries.

For Rafe, Livia is a challenge he longs to solveand take to bed. Once she's in his arms, their desire is overwhelming. But when his own powers reveal Livia's secret pain, he realizes taking her body isn't enoughhe wants to heal her soul, too...

Annette's debut novel won the RWA's Golden Heart Award in 2008, the year we were both finalists. I am so very excited to see the first release for my friend. Here's to many more.
Drawn Into Darkness: A Soul Gatherer Novel
by Annette McCleave
Released 01 September 2009
Serving a five-hundred-year sentence as a Soul Gatherer-one who battles demons for the souls of the dead-Lachlan MacGregor keeps his distance from humans. That is, until the lovely Rachel Lewis knocks on his door, begging for help.

As they struggle to rescue her daughter from the clutches of a powerful demon, Lachlan finds himself increasingly drawn to the artistic single mother. But when Death assigns him an unbearable task, he's left wondering who will provide more for his soul.

Putting up my previous post I had a brainwave for a contest - not to mention I want to see photos of NIGHT'S COLD KISS everywhere.

So send me pictures of NCK in the car, on a train, up a tree - anywhere. The entries will go into the draw of some promo gear. (see below)

I'm opening this contest now and I want to run it until the end of September. I will do one prize draw a week. Any pictures I recieve will be put up on my website and then I'll have a weekly judge to pic the winner - ie the most imaginative, the clevererist or the funniest. Sunday will be announcement day. The first round will close for the first week midnight Saturday September 5 (Austrailan time).

So send me in those pics of NIGHT'S COLD KISS anywhere and everywere to contact [at] traceyohara dot com and enter with chance to win a signed book, or a totebag or a T-Shirt, or a cap as below:
